				Sometimes I like to try new techniques on less challenging puzzles. It may be heavy-handed but it is a learning opportunity and is fun.

Code after basics:

 	  | Code: | 	 		   *-----------------------------------------------------------*

 | 7     2     5     | 1     6     39    |#349   8     349   |

 | 3     9     4     | 5     2     8     | 7     6     1     |

 | 8     1     6     | 39    4     7     |-359   2     359   |

 |-------------------+-------------------+-------------------|

 | 4     5     29    | 239   7     6     |*239   1     8     |

 | 6     8     1     | 239   5     39    |*2349  34-9  7     |

 | 29    3     7     | 4     8     1     |*259  @59    6     |

 |-------------------+-------------------+-------------------|

 | 29    6     239   | 8     39    45    | 1     7     45    |

 | 5     4     8     | 7     1     2     | 6     39    39    |

 | 1     7     39    | 6     39    45    | 8     45    2     |

 *-----------------------------------------------------------* |

Almost Sue de Coq (23459) b6c7, marked *

ab=(34)r1c7 with fin (9)r1c7, marked #

cd=(59)r6c8, marked @

e=(2)r56c7

SdC(23459); r3c7<>3, r5c8<>9

If fin is true: (9)r1c7-r13c9=r8c9-(9=3)r8c8-r5c8=r45c7; r3c7<>3

If fin is true: (9)r1c7-r1c6=r5c6; r5c8<>9

A kite (3) with pivot in b5 completes the puzzle.

				| I think I butchered this thing, using a Type 1, Type 4, Finned X-Wing and XY-Chain. |

				Marty, here's my solver's solution.

 	  | Code: | 	 		   r79c35  <39> UR Type 1.2223             <> 39   r7c3

 r4c6    2-String Kite                   <> 3    r1c7

 <34+9>  XYZ-Wing r1c9/r1c7+r8c9         <> 9    r3c9    excessive

 r45c47  <23> UR Type 4.2233             <> 3    r5c47

   c47   X-Wing                          <> 3    r3c9

 |

Note: the XYZ-Wing can be ignored and replaced by an XY-Wing after the X-Wing.

Regards, Danny |
