That is exact what I had in mind, and that you have suggested in one of the last emails.

Instead of starting from an ALPHA star with 2 digits, we could also start from a "double" star. So ...

Some comments about using the DIC (Double Implication Chains):
- it depends on your starting Alpha star.
- it depends about how many stars you are willing to follow (how deep you are ready to go). ...

I used also double implication chains, but ... I had to travel to a couple of other galaxies, until I got to the solution.

Yes, I called it Zen.
No single response in this forum is confirming it's name.
I know how to get to the solution, but it takes a long time, like in the Zen training. No brute force is needed.

Yup the digit 7 is the key for this Sudoku.
Looking it from the point of view of the DIC (Double Implication Chains) by starting from a pair, it can also be solved.

The distribution of 6's is relly BEAUTIFULL.
If we eliminate first the one from r2c9 we are left with exact 2 occurences of digit 6 in every block!

It would be a pitty to distroy it with the XY- ...

After the first 25 digits, I detected a Naked Triple 3 5 7 in 3x3 Block 4.
Could so eliminate 5 from r4c5 and 7 from r5c4.
So I could pinpoint other 3 digits:

I found a Hidden Triple 5 7 8 in r1c8 r2c7 r2c8
and could eliminate 6 from r1c8, r2c7, r2c8.
